Hey its me again, posting my new Swipe file on my long story, this is the most recent chapter in my blog. This post is a continuation of Tonwin's life previous to this he had been captured by the enemy after breaking his peoples oath to stay out of society's problems. Due to this, he helped save the Ordith and retake the Great Oak.

After Tonwin was freed he told them what he’d learned while among the Nonling’s. The Nonling leader had planned to imbue his machines with the magical power he’d collected from the Great Oak. Enabling them to be active permanently, and negating any magic used on them. Tonwin and his allies struggled to re-enter the Nonlings base of operations. Tonwin was shocked when he discoverd the Nonling leader injured and dying. When he was questioned his only answer was “He is free he is free he is free” Confused Tonwin finally saw the massive mechanical beast begin to rise. Having converted the Nonlings base into a mechanial monster, Grothgar had needed the Great Oaks magic to allow him to possess it, because the tree recognized the mechanical monster as part of itself, it could not banish Grothgars soul from it. Tonwin barely managed to get his friends out before Grothgar was fully operational. Tonwin flew on Redwings back to the Immortals home. He explained the threat and dangers to their home, and they agreed, but only if Tonwin would submit to a full punishment for breaking their sacred oath and by causing them to break theirs. Saddened by the threat, Tonwin agreed. The Immortals allied with the Ordith after hundreds of years of staying away. They attacked the Nonlings machines, trying to disable Grothgars support systems before he was active, but it was too late.  Grothgars mechanical body rose, and in moments what had once been a full scale assault, became a terrified retreat. Regrouping, they realized what Grothgars targets were, Elwin’s Oak, since it had caused him so much trouble before, and the Elves, who had always been in his way. Tonwin volunteered to sneak inside and disable Grothgars systems from within, knowing that only an Immortal could survive such a mission. His friends reluctantly agree to let him go. He sneaks inside as they attempt to distract Grothgar. Sadly Tonwin is only able to disable a few minor systems before Grothgars attention is drawn inward. Quickly catching Tonwin, he brings him to the head, so he can watch in horror as Grothgar bears down on the Great Oak of Elwin. Knowing that the loss of the tree would be something the land would never recover from, Tonwin prepared to sacrifice himself. He worked quickly, using powerful magic, he drew Grothgars consciousness into his own mind, and quickly released a massive explosion that destroyed Grothgars body. Taken by the Immortals Tonwin was brought back to their ancestral home. For the first time in the Immortals history, outsiders (his close friends) were allowed inside as they treated him. When Tonwin was well enough, his people honored the choice he had made, but banished him to never return. Tonwin was distraught, but quickly accepted his fate, leading the cleansing crew in an effort to destroy all of the remaining machines. Grothgar was assumed to be dead, as no sign of him was found. Peace finally settled back into the land, but as they grew lax with their good fortunes, a new evil, a Necromancer, began the finishing touches on his army in order to conquer them.
